Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you.
WOW! Co-op is the first jump into the school year for our family. And this year was a big jump! For the past several years we've belonged to a wonderful co-op founded by a friend. This FRIEND brought many talents including organization and public speaking. Neither of which are passions of mine. Quite the opposite in fact. Breathing very deeply and griping faith, I accepted the responsibility of leadership as my friend and her family moved away. God is so good, filling our co-op with godly women. Women that understand what "co-op" means and do it! What a mission we have for our own families and to each other. May the LORD bless our efforts this year to His Glory! May HE give us His Grace to raise Kingdom Warriors!
Humble Service in the Body of Christ Romans 12:1-8
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Early this past spring began the journey of developing plans for all the needs and changes to come. OVERWHELMING! I got through it with the support and grace of everyone and our first day back was very satisfying. The children and moms were filled with joy seeing everyone again. Little eager hearts ready to embrace all our preparations. The support families give each other is beyond price. Nothing feels like home as much as being with Christians.
My Little Women each had their own special bag of supplies. Minnie Me's year involves the most change. She is a big girl now and is so proud to be going to classes. Me Too loves getting to play, have snacks and be on the playground. Little Mommy is just bursting with joy to be back with her friends. Me, I'm so relieved it all went well!!!!! My classes were fun. Watching middle school faces, change from sour to joy, was definitely fulfilling! Wilderness Tabernacle and Shakespeare, both dreaded, are now embraced with excitement. Fun learning sticks better, ya know. GO Homeschooling!!! We have the ability to go outside the BOX! And I loved having Little Mommy is Chess Club.
Tired. Tired. TIRED. The best kind of tired. The Little Women are counting the days to do it all again.
2 Thessalonians 2:15-17
So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter. May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
Beautiful and so blessed to be a part of this awesome homeschooling coop that above all points these young girls and boys to the Lord.
