We're Still HERE

Our little homeschool will be smaller this year, as Me TOO has been reunited with her family. It has been one of the most challenging journeys for our family so far.  We miss her but do get to see her every so often.

We are all enjoying Bubba's summer return interning at our home church. He will return to classes far away soon.

How homeschooling has changed for me over the years. One, two, three, four, three, two, three, and now two students at a time. God provides so many seasons to grow us all. This year is looking to be the simpilest yet in most of Little Mommy's life. It's hard to remember schooling just one little boy in the house for 10 years.

The summer is a blessed time to rest and reflect over the year. Little Mommy needed to work on more math....... I'm not sure it will be finished and I really just want to quit worrying about it.

Mini Me has been growing and growing. Having Me TOO with us kept Mini Me a little one with her. Now she is back bonding with Little Mommy.

Peace is the treasure. When I look in their eyes. When I hear them making films on field guides. When I see them bursting with song. When full of joy they memorize scripture. When I see the care they give each other. When I feel totally loved and respected......  I'm thinking, math, important that it is....is not as important as this.
Thank you LORD.

I am so grateful my heart has been restored to peace. The KING has been faithful to reveal kisses of vision through my efforts.

Psalm 20
 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
May he remember all your sacrifices
  and accept your burnt offerings.
May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.

Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us when we call!
